All Board of Zoning Appeals Hearings are at the Township Hall located at 5972 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Marblehead, Ohio 43440 and start at 6:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, unless otherwise noted in the notice. 

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Danbury Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold adjudication hearings at the Danbury Township Hall, 5972 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road, Marblehead, Ohio 43440 on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the following applications:


BZA-2017-194      104 Gravel Bar. Request for an Area Variance to Section 5.1.1.C.ii to allow for an accessory structure to be located 16” from the principal structure (5’ separation required). Kory Conrad, Owner/Applicant.

BZA-2017-195      269 Ramp & Heritage Street (PIN# 0141150615400000). Request for an Area Variance to Section 3.1.1.D to allow for a lot split with a minimum width at the street for the new parcel to be 40’ wide (150’ required). Nancy Danklefsen, Owner/ Mark Danklefsen, Agent.

BZA-2017-196      5486 E. Harbor Road.   ** As of October 5, 2017, case has been Withdrawn by Applicants 

Request for an Area Variance to Section 3.1.8.D to allow for a gas pump canopy and an addition onto the former Danbury Hardware to encroach into the required 70’ front yard setback, on a corner lot (56’ & 66’ to gas pump canopy and 52’ to the building addition), Charles Bassett, Agent/ Knoll Crest Investor’s, LTD, Appellant/ Owner.

BZA-2017-199      6270 E. Port Clinton Eastern Road. Request for an Area Variance to Section 5.1.1.A.1 to allow for a 40’ x 80’ (3,200s.f.) Detached Accessory Structure to exceed the allowable size. (2,000s.f. max allowed) Donald Hurt, Owner/Applicant.

Parties wishing to give testimony may appear in person or by attorney. Said hearing may be continued from time to time as necessary. A copy of the aforementioned applications may be viewed at the office of the Zoning Inspector at Danbury Township Zoning Department during normal business hours or by clicking on the case information above.
