Please be advised that due to the anticipated attendance of this hearing, the location of the hearing will now be at the Danbury Township Fire Station Community Room. The Fire Station is located at 7870 E. Harbor Road.


The Ohio EPA will be hosting a public meeting and hearing regarding the Amrize – Marblehead Quarry Expansion Isolated Wetland Permit on April 2, 2026 at 6:00p.m. at the Danbury Township Fire Station. The Township is not responsible for this hearing and in no way should the use of the Township Hall facility indicate support or opposition to said request before the Ohio EPA. The following is information from the EPA regarding this hearing. Any questions should be directly made to the Ohio EPA staff.

What:
Ohio EPA received an application for an Isolated Wetland Permit (IWP) for a project to expand the quarry at 831 South Quarry Road, Lakeside Marblehead.

Why:
Anyone who wishes to discharge dredged or fill material into an isolated wetland regardless of whether on private or public property, is required to obtain an IWP from Ohio EPA.
