John Paul is a lifelong resident of Danbury Township. He is married to Dawn, and they have three adult daughters and three grandsons. He started as a grounds’ maintenance crew member at Bay Point Resort 40 years ago. Over the years he has worked his way up, gaining experience in customer service, business management and facility management and is now the acting General Manager of this prestigious resort community.
John Paul recently served on the Danbury Township Zoning Commission, rounding out his three and a half years of service as Chairman of the Board. He is an active member in the community and has served twelve years as a Board Member for Danbury Schools. Additionally, he has a business degree from BGSU.
His goals as a Danbury Township Trustee are:
a) Balance fiscal responsibility while maintaining needed services
b) Establish a customer service approach to the residents of the Township
c) Manage Township growth in balance with residents’ expectations
Overall, demonstrate his commitment to the residents of Danbury Township.
John Paul was first elected as a Trustee in 2018.
