Tornado & Severe Weather Shelters

During the tornado warning season, any time the emergency sirens are sounded (other than the test that occurs the 1st Friday of each month at noon), only the FRONT DOOR UNDER THE ARCH at both the Fire Station and Township Hall will be open to anyone seeking shelter. This will allow our personnel to quickly direct residents to the safest areas of the buildings. During emergencies our staff may be limited due to calls elsewhere.

EMERGENCY ALERTS & YOUR CELL PHONE                                   

Your cell phone may not be set to receive certain alerts. It is advisable to have alerts turned on for Emergency, Public Safety and Test Alerts. This can be found under “Notifications” or “Emergency Alerts” in the Settings app.
